First things first, get up and move. One idea is to set a timer on your phone to remind you that you need to get up and move around. Do a lap around the house (inside or out). This is a perfect time to get some chores down that you’ve been putting off. Also set a reminder on your phone to tell you to change positions. If your muscles and joints are held in the same position for even ten minutes, they begin tightening and swell. The simple act of changing positions every so often will dramatically reduce this alignment.
