Chiropractic Assistant
Emme
HABLAMOS ESPANOL
I enjoy working in the healthcare industry. I have experience as a chiropractic assistant and a medical assistant. Furthermore, I am fluent in Spanish, so I take pride in being able to translate. Working in health care has played an important role in my life; being able to serve and take care of others is why I love my job.
Chiropractic is such a great, natural way of healing the body, so being a part of a practice whose focus is pure chiropractic care makes me proud of working here. It's great to be able to see the patient's happiness and confidence as they begin to feel better. Outside of work, I am a wife and mother of two amazing boys. I like to spend my time outside with my family, enjoying nature or last-minute adventures and trips to the beach.

Massage Assistant
Bree
Hi my name is Bree! I started massaging after a family member was in a car accident, and knew from the start I wanted to help people heal not only their bodies but heal their souls, and enjoy life without pain. I especially love doing focus/trigger point work, and deep tissue! Some of my outside of work hobbies include, spending time with my family, walking/hiking, reading, and baking.

Acupuncturist
Kara Saltz, L.Ac, D.A.C.M.
As an acupuncturist, I strive to bridge the gap between Eastern and Western health practices. By combining Traditional Chinese Medicine with training in Sports Medicine Acupuncture, my goal is to provide a personalized, integrated approach to patient care that supports the body, mind, and nervous system.
In the clinic you’ll see me nerd out about compensation patterns and physical imbalances in the body. I am passionate about providing evidence-based care, and empowering YOU with knowledge and tools that can be incorporated at home to accelerate healing.
It is my belief that a patient-centered approach provides the best opportunity for healing. I discovered this during my clinical rotations at Fora Health and the Legacy Pain Management Center, as well as during my work with the Acupuncture Relief Project in rural Nepal. All of these experiences invigorated my passion for providing individualized, culturally and socioeconomically competent care. I want to help get you back to Living, whatever that means to you!
In my free time you will find me in the Olympic Mountains with my Bernese Mountain Dog, cuddled up reading with my two cats, or attacking random home projects with my partner.
I so look forward to meeting you and seeing how I can help!

office assistant
Nicole
Nicole worked at a movie theater for many years before moving to Olympia with her mom and gained valuable customer service skills as well as honing her skill at the "little details" of things. During the pandemic, Nicole and her job coach worked on meaningful life skills such as learning technology via her new cell phone and laptop.
With weekly support and coaching, Nicole built a solid foundation of typing skills and gained basic computer knowledge that would prove to be most helpful, both personally and professionally as Nicole accepted employment with Dr. Martin at his local office, Evergreen Family Chiropractic. Nicole works closely with office manager, Emme, and office assistant, Calysta. Together, they run the front and back office and Nicole supports them as needed with different office tasks. Nicole assists with shredding and sanitation around the office, ensuring the high touch surface areas are clean for everyone's safety as well as checking patients in and out via the computer program used. Nicole also assists with feeding the fish in the big tank which requires some expertise. Nicole feels supported, confident and comfortable in her new position and continues to build new skills weekly.
